STORMINSPANK'S HAWKEYE RAMBLINGS

Hi. My name is Justin VanLaere (don't try to pronounce it, you'll butcher it like everyone else). I am an I.T. Specialist by day, wannabe Hawkeye Blogger by night. My first love is sports, specifically the Iowa Hawkeyes and NCAA Basketball. Come March Madness, I predict the field of 65 and analyze the Bubble Teams (98% correct bids since inception). I follow Hawkeye recruiting closely, and moderate on Hawkeyenation.com. These are my Hawkeye Ramblings... enjoy my insanity.

Keep Ron Zook out of Wrigley...

A travesty occurred on Saturday. Ron Zook was allowed to sing the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley... again. For the account of his first performance, check out this blog. For some unknown reason, those in charge of scheduling guest conductors at the Friendly Confines thought it would be a superb idea to bring back the guy who has to use notes while singing one of the most well-known songs in American history. You'd think ol' Zooker would have taken time to do a bit of studying between putting a crappy product on the field and posing for dance pictures. Guess not. Note cards are great for 5th grade presentations, not to go in front of a nationwide audience. Video of, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" , is below. I don't suggest you click on the link if you want to keep your lunch, however. Credit to SPORTSbyBROOKS for link to video from WGN.
