STORMINSPANK'S HAWKEYE RAMBLINGS

Hi. My name is Justin VanLaere (don't try to pronounce it, you'll butcher it like everyone else). I am an I.T. guy by day, avid Hawkeye Blogger by night. My first love is sports, specifically the Iowa Hawkeyes and NCAA Basketball. Come March Madness, I predict the field of 65 and analyze the Bubble Teams (98% correct bids since inception). I follow Hawkeye recruiting closely, and moderate on Hawkeyenation.com. These are my Hawkeye Ramblings... enjoy my insanity.

FOOTBALL: Congrats Karl Klug - Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

Klug has been named the Big Ten DPOTW for Week 2.
Off the bench, nonetheless.
Klug, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound sophomore from Caledonia, Minn.., posted career highs against FIU with nine tackles and two sacks while also forcing a fumble to help the Hawkeye defense post a shutout. The sophomore tackle’s second sack forced a fumble that was recovered by Iowa on FIU’s final drive. The Hawkeyes limited the Golden Panthers to 56 rushing yards and four-of-15 on third downs.
Congrats, Karl!
